Material and Workmanship Guarantee

Plumbing Doctor takes pride in bringing you only the best products and services. That’s why we warranty all company-provided material and workmanship to be free from defect for a period of one (1) year from the date of service or installation.

Any material supplied by Plumbing Doctor that we determine to be defective shall be repaired or replaced.  This warranty does not cover defects or damages caused by misuse, negligence, or acts of God.

All company-supplied fixtures or parts are installed with a one (1) year warranty on the labor and any miscellaneous material we supply to complete the repair or installation.  However, the warranty on any customer-supplied product that Plumbing Doctor installs is between the customer and manufacturer.  Plumbing doctor does not provide any warranty on labor for any customer-supplied fixture or part.

Some products that are supplied and used by Plumbing Doctor come with a manufacturer warranty as well, which may be longer than one (1) year.  In such situations, the manufacturer will supply the replacement part or unit, but the manufacturer’s warranty does not cover the Plumbing Doctor’s labor costs beyond the first year unless specified otherwise.

Plumbing Doctor’s drain cleaning services include only one (1) re-rodding of a sewer (excluding previous rodding for tree roots) within thirty (30) days of service.

Plumbing Doctor is not liable for water or other damage resulting from any defect or from any delay to the said warranty claim.  The consumer must take reasonable steps to mitigate any damage stemming from said defect or delay.

Plumbing Doctor shall not be liable for any special, incidental, consequential or exemplary damages under this warranty agreement.  Plumbing Doctor’s entire exclusive liability, whether in contract or tort or otherwise in any way connected to the service provided under this agreement, is limited to the replacement or repair of the work, or at Plumbing Doctor’s option, a refund of a portion or all of the amount paid for the work.

If, for any reason, any scheduled or unscheduled maintenance under Plumbing Doctor’s maintenance agreement is not performed, any loss or damage resulting from a failure to  perform alleged to have been caused by lack of performance of said maintenance visit shall not exceed the cost of the maintenance agreement.

Plumbing Doctor will respond to a warranty claim under this agreement within a reasonable time.
